Today,Tolerance School participated in the annual Information-Communication Technology (ICT) Quiz Bowl held at the Systems Technology Institute (STI) Colleges, Incorporated in Zamboanga City.

Ten schools,all very proficient in ICT,participated in the said event. However,FTTS went out to be the champion for this year's Quiz Bowl.

Here were the participants of the FTTS team:

They received a trophy,gold medals,recognition certificates,and a cash prize of 2,000 pesos.

Tolerance School is actually considered one of the best schools here in Zamboanga.
It is the best that can be found in the West Coast.

It is a school that encourages good morals,at the same time,encouraging academic excellence.

You acn see in the vision-mission statement of the school(though it has some wrong syntactics...heheh)

The Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School will join the 2008 ICT Week,which will be held at the Systems Technology Institute(STI)College,from January 19-23,2008.

Three senior students will join the said competition.They are confirmed to join the Quiz Bowl and Website Making Contest in the said competition.

On a bright and windy Monday morning, the walls of the school were covered with white linen. Steamers and envelopes were everywhere, giving a first-timer the impression that something large is brewing.

The school grounds resembled a 19th-century pasture, only without the hills. On a corner, red and white-clad figures were having fun drinking tea and taking pictures, while some yellow-shirted ones where laden with knives and machetes. You can see every imaginable color around, and they seem to know that something big would happen.

All the while, in the rooftop, Romar Pulis and Paul Jacob fixed a banner proclaiming “Happy Eid al-Adha Kurban ‘08.” the FTTS 3-day celebration of the festival of sacrifice has begun.

The school, in the light of this activity, slaughter, as they do the act, an uninitiated person abhors the smell and sight of cows being slaughtered, but for those who know best, it was a deed of charity and worship.
